2024 Member-Guest Mens Invitational Golf Tournament

August 8-10, 2024

$250 per person / $500 per team plus greens fees (50 team slots-100 players)

TIGC Members, their playing Partners (must have a GHIN H.I. to enter) and Spouses/Guests are invited to attend

Format

Up to (10) flights of (5) teams each

Each team will play a 9 hole 2-man best ball match against each team in their flight

1 point per hole and 1 point for winning match: 10 pts per match 

Horserace for flight winners, (2) highest score second place winners and pirate flight winner (the lowest scoring team from each flight on Day 1 will be in a Pirate flight. The highest score on day 2 among the Pirate flight teams will get in). Alternate Shot/Drive format as  run by Golf Shop.  The Horserace will begin on the 16th hole and continue on holes 17 and 18 with teams eliminated each hole.

Daily and Overall Prizes 

Closets to the Pins on 8-9-24 and 8-10-24

Top two point winners each day and combined two day total by  flight

Horserace: prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Putting Contest: prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Thursday August 8th

• Morning Practice Round—(tee times starting at 9:20am; info to follow.) Optional $20 buy-in- team net best ball.

• 5:00PM Pairings/Drinks/Barbecue Buffet Dinner for all at Burnt Cedar Beach

• Wagering on overall horserace winners

Friday August 9th

8:30AM Shotgun start

• 2 nine hole matches

• Putting Contest after play with Food and Drink

• Free driving range balls 

• 4 KPs​

Saturday August 10th 

8:30AM Shotgun start

• 2 nine hole matches

• Food and drink provided behind 18th green during Horserace; spouses welcome.

• Free driving range balls 

• 4 KPs
